We ask for 30 days notice on Lifestyle plans so we can ensure a smooth transition for your loved one. But there is never a financial penalty for leaving. If we are not delivering what we promised, you should not be paying for it.
Care is personal. Chemistry matters. If your loved one does not feel comfortable with their assigned caregiver or coordinator after the first two weeks, we will reassign them immediately at no extra cost. You do not need to justify it or go through a lengthy process. One call to your care coordinator is all it takes.
Before your plan starts, we send a written care agreement spelling out exactly what is included, how often, and by whom. No surprises. No hidden extras. No ambiguity. If anything in that document does not match what you were told during your consultation, contact us and we will make it right before your first billing date.
We promise that every interaction; from our daily wellness calls to our in-home visits and customer service assistance is performed entirely by a compassionate, real human being. While we use technology to keep your family connected, we never use AI to replace the empathy, intuition, and genuine companionship that our clients deserve.

You speak with a real member of our team, not a salesperson. We ask about your loved one's daily routine, health conditions, family situation, and concerns. We recommend a plan honestly, including telling you if we think a different provider would serve you better.
Everything agreed in the consultation is documented in writing. Exactly what is included. Exactly how often. Exactly who is responsible. You review it, ask questions, and only sign when you are fully comfortable. Nothing starts without your explicit confirmation.
Your loved one's profile is set up, their caregiver or coordinator is assigned, and their first call or visit is scheduled. For urgent situations like recent hospital discharge, sudden change in condition, we fast-track this to 24 hours wherever possible.
A member of our team contacts you to ask how the first week felt. Is the tone of the calls right? Is the timing working? Is there anything to adjust? We do not wait for problems to surface. We look for them proactively.
If after 3 days the Essential Series plan is not working for your family for any reason we refund the first month, no questions asked. For Lifestyle plans, if the first month does not meet the standard described in your care agreement, contact us and we will make it right before your second billing date.
- "What if my parent refuses the calls?" It happens, and it is okay. We have worked with resistant seniors many times. Our coordinators are trained to build rapport slowly and gently. Most clients who initially refuse become the ones who look forward to the call most. We will not give up after one try.
- "What if the caregiver shares our private information?" Every Arcani staff member signs a strict confidentiality agreement before their first day. All client information is stored securely and never shared with third parties. Our privacy policy is on our website and we will walk you through it if you have specific concerns.
- "What if my loved one has a medical emergency during a visit?" Our caregivers are trained to call 911 immediately for any medical emergency and to contact the designated family member within 15 minutes. They are not clinical staff and will not attempt medical intervention beyond basic first aid but they will never leave your loved one alone in an emergency.
- "What if I want to pause the service temporarily?" Life changes. We understand. Essential plan clients can pause their service for up to 30 days per year without losing their plan rate. Lifestyle plan pauses are handled case by case with your dedicated care coordinator.
- "What if the service just isn't worth the price?" Cancel anytime. We mean it. And if you tell us specifically what fell short, we will do everything in our power to fix it first because losing a client we could have served better is something we take personally.
